Behavior change happens when we accept that there is a concern impeding on the quality of our lives and challenge ourselves to find solutions. There is one commonality to human relationships; the desire to be both seen and heard. To get the best results from our therapeutic endeavor, I ask that your mind is open and you present your concerns fully and honestly.
In Individual Therapy, we will explore how you got to where you are today, identify patterns, build on strengths, and find ways to heal emotional wounds. I specialize in LGBT+, Sex-Drug Fusion, Addiciton, Sex, Kink/Fetish, Anxiety/Depression, and HIV.
I strive to help people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, and body size feel respected with me. People of all backgrounds should be able to get the help they need without fear of microaggressions or further oppression by the therapist. I offer a shame-free, safe, and affirming space.
As a Black Queer Therapist, I have learned that understanding the intersections of my identities and how I show up in multiple spaces has been imperative to my personal growth and my understanding of belonging.
If you find you can’t be vulnerable anywhere else, know that it’s okay to be during our sessions—free from judgment and challenged when needed.
I only offer virtual online sessions using a safe and secure platform that protects your personal information.
